Sneaking in Another Trike Ride!

It has been really cold this past week with temperatures dipping into the teens!  Elli got in a little trike ride a couple weeks ago on a warm Friday afternoon when it was almost 60 degrees! :)

Elli likes to play the educational games on the children's computer when it's available after library storytime.  She is very bright!

Later for supper, Elli did a great job chopping lettuce for our taco salads!

When Elli hears me in the kitchen, she will run out and ask if she can help!  There's a lot of learning that happens in the kitchen.  I give Elli specific instructions and demonstrate what to do.  She is a good little helper, but sometimes messes are made and she has to sit down for a time-out.  Yes, she has poured an entire open salt shaker onto a measuring spoon!  She is only three and is wiggly and sometimes tries to do "ballet moves" while she's standing on the chair at the counter!  She keeps Mama on her own toes for sure!  Elli brings a lot of fun and energy to the kitchen!  I love my sweet little helper.  ;)

Two Musicals in Two Weeks!

Last week, we went to a high school musical to see my Senior piano student play the role of Pawnee Bill in "Annie Get Your Gun"!

Elli wanted to wear her cowgirl boots so she would match Pawnee Bill.  :)

New theater for this school and a great production!

This week, we went to see another one of my piano students in our high school musical, "Once Upon a Mattress", a comedy about the Princess and the Pea!

Tap Dancing! (Video!)

Elli loves to dance and wants to enroll in a dance class soon.  I found a pair of Kaitlyn's tap shoes and turned on an Irish music station on Pandora!  Here's our future dancer…  ;)
