Together in Paris ~ Day 6 (Video!)

Here are pictures of our next day in Paris with Kaitlyn when she was studying abroad!  I was not feeling well, but we still got to see Kaitlyn's apartment, Kaitlyn and Brady went to the Musée d'Orsay and the Sorbonne University, and we had crêpes at the Trocadéro!

After Kaitlyn's morning classes, we got a later start to the day because I was sick with the stomach virus.  I started feeling better and we went to see Kaitlyn's apartment building.  She lived on the 5th floor above a Starbucks!

Kaitlyn and her roommate enjoyed opening the big window in their room for a cool breeze and to hear the sounds of Paris!

The Musée d'Orsay is Kaitlyn's favorite art museum! 

Unfortunately, I was not feeling well again and had to go back to our hotel. :( Kaitlyn and Brady decided to go out and explore a little on their own!

I only wanted Sprite and plain Lay's potato chips and rest.  :(

Later that evening, we went to the Trocadéro to have the best view of the Eiffel Tower lit up at night!

Chinese New Year Festival ~ 2016

We went to a Chinese New Year Festival!  This is the Year of the Monkey!

We are so glad that Kaitlyn and Brady could come too!  Last year on this date, Kaitlyn was flying to Paris to study abroad!

We had a warm day in January, so we practiced bicycling with no training wheels!

We waited for Kaitlyn to come home on the weekend, but Daddy finally got his birthday carrot cake with pecan cream cheese icing!

We had a Star Wars theme and placed the candles on the cake like a light saber!
