Elli couldn't wait to go to her aunt and uncle's farm for a Halloween costume party and haunted hayride!

My mom cracked us up when she started talking in a pretend Native American language.  Elli didn't skip a beat and started talking back to her!  Haha!

After the hayride, we roasted some marshmallows over the campfire.

Columbus Day Jell-O Boats!

We made Jell-O boats to celebrate Columbus Day!

"In fourteen hundred ninety-two,

Columbus sailed the ocean blue!"

 Cutting off the corners of a slice of cheese for the boat sails.

Putting toothpicks in the cheese sails to attach them to the apple slice boats.

Fever at School

Elli started the day looking like Super Girl and ready to take on the day!...

...Then four hours later, I got a call from the school nurse that Elli had a fever.  :(

Elli's swimming instructor let her wear his swimming goggles for good luck to try to pass the swimming test.  :) Elli didn't pass the test yet, but she is getting closer!

Elli brought home her little pumpkin painting craft after the hayride and apple cider making at our preacher's house.  She decided to paint it like a KC Royals player!  :)
