Jeff, Kaitlyn, and Brady went to the movies to see the new "Star Trek Beyond".  Since Elli couldn't go to the movie, we decided to make some popcorn and blue punch at home.  Elli loves popcorn!

We attended the 1st birthday party of Elli's friend's little baby brother!  We had fun experiencing a Korean culture 1st birthday congratulation party!

Library Summer Reading Log Complete!

Elli completed her library summer reading log by reading over 360 minutes!  She earned a certificate and a prize book!  She chose the book, "Make a Trade, Charlie Brown".

25th Anniversary Trip ~ Day 3 & 4

On day three of our trip, we said goodbye for now to Mackinac Island and got ready for our flight to Boston to meet up with the kids!

Most of the shops on Mackinac Island were still closed early in the morning, but Murdick's Fudge was open so we had to stop in.

We got a slice of chocolate macadamia fudge!

We had a nice drive from Mackinac Island to Detroit and our flight to Boston went well.  We arrived at the airport in time to meet the kids coming off their flight!

On day four, we drove from Boston up to Acadia National Park in Maine.  We decided to drive up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain to get some pretty evening views!

Looking forward to taking a boat tour on the bay at Acadia National Park tomorrow! 

Reese's Peanut Butter S'mores!

We made S'mores (over the charcoal grill, haha!) with Reese's peanut butter cups for the chocolate!  Yummy!

5th "Gotcha Day" Anniversary!

July 11, 2016 marked our 5th "Gotcha Day" anniversary!  We celebrated at the water park again and got Chinese takeout!

Brady's College Summer Welcome

Here are some pictures from Brady's college summer welcome!  We went to some presentations for new students and Brady got registered for his fall classes.

It was a beautiful day to be walking around campus.

Kaitlyn had a picture of Elli from her photography class that got chosen for an undergraduate art display!  We got to see it during summer welcome.  It was a huge print measuring about 4 feet by 5 feet!

It looked amazing, and Elli couldn't believe she was "famous"!  :)

The college had ice cream for everyone at the end of the day!

After spending the day at the college with Brady, Elli was excited to go swimming that evening at the hotel pool!

When Brady was back on campus the next morning finishing registering for his classes, we were at the hotel cheering on Roger Federer at Wimbledon!  Elli wants to play tennis too like Daddy, Kaitlyn, and Brady.  :)
