On the last day of our 25th anniversary trip, we explored Boston!
Elli and Daddy walking in historic Boston.
We took a trolley tour.
A statue of Paul Revere behind The Old North Church.
The Old North Church where the lanterns were hung to warn that the British were invading.
"One if by land, two if by sea..."
from The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere.
Inside The Old North Church.
We went on The Freedom Trail which is a 2 1/2 mile path through downtown Boston that includes 16 historical sites significant to the founding of the U. S.
Paul Revere's home.
We ate lunch at the Thinking Cup.
We got to go on The U.S.S. Constitution. During the War of 1812, cannon balls bounced off her sides and she became known as "Old Ironsides". Jeff was a little disappointed that she was on dry dock and that we were a little pressed for time.
We got to go below decks!
More adventures in Boston await this afternoon!
