Elli on Ice ~ Beginner 2 Class July 28

Elli ice skating during the third session of Beginner 2 level.

Elli can't lace up her ice skates yet, but she likes to help untie them.

Learning to carefully dry off the blades before putting the ice skates in her skating bag.

The pianos were still on parade outside the ice skating rink!

Piano Recital ~ July 26, 2015 (Video!)

Elliana performed in my piano studio recital in July.  This was her first time to perform solo and she did great!

She performed "Turn It Up!" by Kim Williams.

Video!

So adorable.  <3

After the piano recital, we went to the movie theater and saw Disney's "Inside Out"!

Spotify Music

I think it's fun to find a playlist on Spotify to match the culture of the food we are eating.  This night was spaghetti, so I found a playlist called "Little Italy: Traditional Romantic Italian Restaurant Favorites".  :)

Too Hot for Bicycling!

Pics taken July 23 ~

Elli gets hot so quickly wearing her bicycle helmet.  We are looking forward to some cooler weather for bicycling on trails this fall!

Elli's Swimming Lessons ~ July 22

Here are some pictures from Elli's second swimming lesson.  Elli's group class only had one other little boy in it, but he broke his arm at home the day after their first swimming lesson and couldn't swim!  :(

 Having fun!

Elli got to go down the water slide at the end of her swimming lesson for fun, but she was too scared to go by herself so her teacher went with her.  :)

Elli practiced her piano recital piece again on one of the "Pianos on Parade" still outdoors at the ice skating rink.  :)

Visiting Family & Brady's Eagle Scout Project!

In July, we got to visit family in Texas and see our baby nephew again!  He is 15 months old and is as cute as can be.
Brady also got to work with his uncle on his Eagle Scout project!  They are building new shelving for the high school percussion department.

We all went out to eat and then walked out to the scenic water's edge.

Brady working on test assembly of one of the percussion shelving units.

While the boys were working, the girls and Austin went to the park.  My sister-in-law did a little photo shoot (I had to sneak a quick pic too), and then Elli got to play at the playground.

Uncle Brian showing Brady how to drill the holes for the shelf inserts.

The next morning, Brady routing the shelf edges.

Austin has such beautiful eyes and the longest eyelashes!

Bye-bye hugs and kisses!  XOXO

Starbucks and Target with JieJie!

Elli had fun going to Target with JieJie, especially since they stopped at the Starbucks inside and got Elli's favorite Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino.  Oh JieJie.

Elli loves helping others and being a little nurse, so she was excited when she found this Disney Princess first-aid kit at the store.  She takes it everywhere.  :)
