Last week, Elli had her first dentist appointment since being home. She was a big girl and did really great!
No cavities!
Elli was happy to get a sticker and a new toothbrush!
Here's a picture of Elli seeing the dentist when she was in China. We think she was a little over one year old - about Spring 2011.
"For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." Psalm 103:11-12

Drumline Plays at a Charity Walk
Brady performed with the Drumline at a Walk for the Homeless charity event a couple months ago. Drumline camp for the new school year is starting again next week!
The Drumline gave an exciting performance to get everyone going early in the morning! (Brady is on the back row, 3rd from the left on bass drum.) A performance before 8:00 a.m. wasn't too early for Elli!

And the walkers begin!

Playing on the Deck with Daddy!
Daddy likes to throw a ball on the roof and catch it on the way back down. Elli's expression waiting for the ball to roll down is hilarious!

Boy Scout Camp ~ 2013
Brady went to Boy Scout camp last month. This was his fifth year. His classes were canoeing, rifle shooting, vet medicine, Mic-O-Say dance, and plant science.

Brady playing his ukelele after dinner. :)
Brady's rank and tribal name is now "Fire Builder Distant Tribe". His tribal name was given to him when he was tapped into the tribe in 2011, the year we traveled to a "distant" land for our adoption trip to China.
The next evening. Waiting for the Mic-O-Say tapping ceremony to begin.
The Tribe of Mic-O-Say dancing around the tapping fire. (Brady is 3rd from the left.)
New Scout candidates, hoping to be tapped into the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, circled around the fire to the sound of beating drums and Indian war cries. It was followed by silence as the Mic-O-Say Tapper ran laps around the circle with a flaming torch and tapped in new scouts to the Tribe.
