Spring Book Fair!

Pictures taken Apr. 5 ~
Elli was excited to go to her school's spring book fair!  Elli is in 1st grade and is reading at a 4th grade level in the accelerated reading program.  She is moving through the levels quickly with nearly 100% accuracy, so her actual reading level could be even higher!

Fun book fair finds!

Reading Elli's new Disney Princess Movie Theater projector book and eating kettle corn!

Projecting a Beauty and the Beast image on the wall during the story.

Sleepover at Grandma's House!

Pictures taken Mar. 25-26 ~
Elli had a sleepover at Grandma's house for the first time with Kaitlyn and their cousin, Lindsey!

Elli was so excited to have her first sleepover at Grandma's house!  Her Disney princess suitcase is the one that Kaitlyn had when she was little!  Kaitlyn tried to recreate the picture of when she was little and walking up to Grandma's house for a sleepover.  :)

This picture was taken July 30, 2002 when Kaitlyn was 7-years old (just like Elli!) going to Grandma's house for a sleepover with the same Disney princess suitcase!  Brady was almost 5-years old.  :)

The girls made paper queen crowns to wear while they played the card game, "Sleeping Queens"!

Kaitlyn looked cute in her fancy crown.  <3

So adorable!

The girls made taco soup!

Yummy!

Of course, Elli had to have the traditional vanilla ice cream with peaches at Grandma's house and watch late-night movies!  ;)

Elli gave the vanilla ice cream and peaches a thumbs up!

Grandma made Elli chocolate muffins for breakfast the next morning!

They also had bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and toast with jelly.

Kaitlyn made a latte in Grandma's vintage mugs.  :)

The girls are looking forward to having another sleepover at Grandma's house this summer!  <3

Spring Break Fun! (Videos!)

Pictures taken Mar. 20-24 ~
Elli's Spring break was the week before Kaitlyn's and Brady's Spring break from college, so we just had some fun playing at home!

Elli wanted to set up Brady's old Little Tikes Peak play set, so we put it on the deck so she could enjoy the beautiful weather!

Magic carpet swing!

We went out to eat after ice skating.  Elli loves chips and salsa, macaroni and cheese, and mandarin oranges at Chili's!

Tents, teepees, and doctor carts!

We went shopping, and Elli had fun spending her birthday money from Grandpa for a light blue desk lamp and organizer, crayons, markers, a jump rope, hula hoop, a light-up indoor hover ball, and a snorkel set!

We got Marshmallow a new soft bed that Elli could take to her room sometimes.  :)
