We made some cute flower sugar cookies on Mother's Day!
Roll a little ball of sugar cookie dough in colored sugar. (We used Betty Crocker gluten-free sugar cookie mix.) Snip it in half with scissors making sure not to go all the way to the bottom, then snip each half into three petals.
Gently spread the petals apart and lay flat.
We added M&M's for the centers of the flowers, and some cookies got extra M&M's for fun!
Elli had fun making flower cookies!
